Team sports are a powerful way to build character, foster camaraderie, and grow as individuals. As a coach, my goal is to help players build confidence on and off the field so they can succeed in all areas of life.
I’ve been playing soccer since age 7, and my passion for the game deepened in high school when two dedicated coaches helped me see the game in a new way. I developed a stronger understanding of team play and how to contribute to overall success—something that continues to drive me as I still enjoy challenging myself on the pitch today.
I strive to create a positive environment where players learn to push themselves physically and mentally, support one another, and grow from mistakes. By building confidence, resilience, and respect for each player’s unique strengths, I believe these lessons will carry far beyond the field.
Outside of soccer, I’ve worked full-time with Habitat for Humanity International for more than 20 years. My wife Hanna and I have three children—two of whom play in the club—and we enjoy backpacking, mountain biking, and time in our backyard sauna. We’re proud to be part of the Newberg community and are committed to helping create a place where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
